Related Beal announced today that it is redeveloping the John Jeffries House at 170 Charles Street into a new, boutique branded hotel. Scheduled to open in 2019, the new 66-room hotel will include a café and lounge area, which will provide an intimate sanctuary to meet with friends, or quiet space to relax. Related Beal plans to complete an extensive renovation and redesign of the existing property and construct a 12,000-square foot addition where the surface parking lot is currently located, on the corner of Charles and Cambridge Street.
